Built around legal data obligations
Client Privilege Protected
Statement PDF files are parsed in-browser by a local JavaScript engine, the PDF itself is never uploaded. If you choose to save a converted statement, only the extracted transaction data (never the original PDF) is stored, and you can permanently delete it at any time, keeping you in control of client confidentiality.
Litigation-Ready Spreadsheets
Export clean XLSX with transaction summaries, or CSV for import into forensic accounting tools. Structured output covering dates, descriptions, credits, debits, and running balance, ready for exhibit preparation or expert handoff.
Multi-Month Statement Processing
Process months or years of statements across multiple accounts and parties. Multi-page PDF support with full transaction extraction, essential for tracing assets across long financial histories.
1000+ Banks Across All Jurisdictions
Supports statements from UK, US, EU, Australian, and Asian banks, HSBC, Barclays, NatWest, Lloyds, Chase, Wells Fargo, ANZ, and hundreds more. Cross-border matters covered.
Why Architecture Matters for Legal Work
Your PDF stays in the browser.
Most PDF converters upload your file to a cloud server to process it. For legal professionals handling client financial documents, this creates an immediate confidentiality problem, the statement is now on a third-party server, regardless of their privacy policy.
PivotBank's architecture is different by design. Your PDF file is never uploaded, it is read by a JavaScript engine running inside your browser tab, and free conversions never leave your device. If you choose to save a converted statement, the only thing stored is the extracted transaction data (never the original PDF), which you can permanently delete at any time.

Common questions
Is this compliant with our solicitor data handling obligations?
Your PDFs are never uploaded, they're parsed in your browser, so free conversions never leave your device. If you choose to save a converted statement, only the extracted transaction data (never the original PDF) is stored, and you can permanently delete it at any time. This keeps your data footprint minimal and entirely within your control.
Can I process statements for multiple clients in one session?
Yes. Each PDF is processed independently. You can convert statements for as many clients as needed, the free limit is 10 pages/day, and when you need a full statement with no page cap you unlock it for a one-time £2.49. No data from one client is ever mixed with another.
Does it handle statements from multiple banks and jurisdictions?
Yes. PivotBank supports 1000+ bank statement formats from the UK, US, EU, Australia, and Asia. HSBC, Barclays, NatWest, Lloyds, Chase, Wells Fargo, ANZ, DBS, and hundreds more. If a specific format is missing, contact us and we'll add support.
How does paying per statement work?
There is no subscription. Free conversions cover up to 10 pages a day. When you need a full statement, you make a one-time £2.49 payment to unlock it, this converts every page (no cap) and adds JSON export, categorisation, and insights, with the statement saved to your account to re-download anytime. For volume firm arrangements, contact [email protected].
What if the PDF is a scanned statement rather than a digital export?
PivotBank extracts text from digital PDF bank statements (the format produced when a client downloads directly from online banking). Scanned PDFs, photographs of paper statements, do not contain extractable text and will not parse. Ask your client to download the original digital PDF from their bank's online portal.
