Built for a month of client statements
Converting statements one at a time is fine for a single account. It stops being fine when a client sends twelve months across three accounts, and every file needs the same export format and the same balance check before it can go anywhere near the ledger.
Batch conversion runs the same parser over every file in turn, verifies each running balance, and hands back one archive. The PDFs are never uploaded, and only their transaction lines are read, with names, addresses and account numbers removed first, which is the part that matters under GDPR.
One format for the whole batch
Pick Excel, CSV, OFX, QBO or QIF once and every statement in the ZIP comes out the same way, with the same column layout and the same date handling. No re-mapping columns per file, and no US and UK dates mixed in the same import.

Batch conversion questions
How many statements can I convert at once?
There is no fixed cap on the number of files. Each one is read in turn, the same way as a single conversion, and a folder of a dozen statements is routine.
Are the PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF itself is never uploaded, the same as a single conversion: it is opened in your browser, and only its transaction lines are read, with your name, address and account number removed first. A scanned page is the exception: it is rendered on your device and sent as an image to be read. The ZIP is assembled on your device.
Which formats can I export?
Excel (XLSX), CSV, OFX for Xero, QBO for QuickBooks and QIF for Quicken. You pick one format for the whole batch and get a single ZIP containing a file per statement.
What happens if one statement fails to parse?
It is marked in the list with the reason and skipped from the ZIP; the rest still convert. You can remove it, fix the source PDF and re-add it without redoing the others.
Do I need a Pro plan?
Yes, batch conversion is part of Pro. Converting statements one at a time shows a free preview, and any single statement can be unlocked in full with a one-time payment.
